Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Steve-O Crocodilian Sanctuary website (the "Site"). The Sanctuary is a non-profit organization operated alongside Vivarium Crocodylus and the Warren Federation. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Admission to and conduct within the sanctuary are governed by separate posted rules and any waiver provided at the time of entry.

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and informational purposes only. You agree not to use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it, or to use automated means to access or harvest content without our written permission.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

The Sanctuary houses live crocodilians and other wild animals. Any visit involves inherent risks. Information on this Site about hours, the animals, and visiting is provided for general informational purposes and is subject to change without notice.

There are no demonstrations at the sanctuary; visitors come to observe animals in a naturalistic setting. Guests must follow all posted safety guidance and staff instructions at all times. Nothing on this Site guarantees that any specific animal will be visible or available on a given day.

Donations and sponsorships support the Sanctuary's rescue and care work and, unless otherwise specified in writing, are unrestricted gifts that the Sanctuary may apply where the need is greatest. "Sponsor an animal" and similar programs are symbolic support programs and do not confer ownership of, or any legal interest in, any animal.

Statements regarding the deductibility of contributions depend on the Sanctuary's final tax-exempt status and your individual circumstances and are not tax advice.

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, marks, illustrations, designs, photography, and the overall look and feel — is owned by the Sanctuary or its affiliates and licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

The Site and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Sanctuary, Vivarium Crocodylus, the Warren Federation, and their affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site.

This limitation concerns the Site only and does not address liability arising from a physical visit, which is governed by separate posted terms and waivers.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.
